Philadelphia and Nashville Wedding Photography | Sarah and Justin
For this session, I traveled from Nashville to Philadelphia, PA with my film camera in tow to capture part 2 of Sarah and Justin’s engagement session. We also doubled this up with a little mini workshop so double score! Offering Philadelphia and Nashville Wedding Photography AND workshopping – WAHOO! I love teaching and opening up little mentoring sessions when I travel. I had 6 girls join me on this shoot and we had a blast. Of course at the end we had to stop for Philly Cheese steaks! It was my first time and well, to be honest, I’m not a huge fan. Don’t hate me all my Philly friends!
We decided to do a little something different for this engagement session, you know, engagement sessions can be fancy sometimes. I like actually LOVE it when my clients decide to put on a long dress and a suit and get all dressed up! It’s like a little practice run for the big day and it’s so pretty. I mean, who doesn’t want to put on a blush tulle and lace dress and snuggle with their honey?
These two are seriously the cutest and we had so much fun walking up and down the streets of old town Philadelphia, PA (where they got engaged btw) to take their pictures. I love to get away from Nashville for a bit and shoot somewhere new. And since it was downtown, and earlier in the day, it was a little bit of challenge but I love a challenge. Of course shooting these two is always my favorite. Add in a BHLDN gown and it’s golden. It was a little chilly that day in April but they were troopers and kept smiling and did a lot of snuggling.
Enjoy this session, all shot on film with the Contax 645 and Fuji 400 film. And look closely for a little taste of my favorite city in Europe.
Until next time,
