Ok Friends, get ready to swoon because France, especially the south of France in the Provence region, holds a special place in my heart and this destination elopement gives me all heart eyes. I have been to the south of France 3 times and I can’t wait to go back.
This summer, I was able to travel to the sweet little town of Grignon, France with my photography younger twin, Lauren Fair to teach a combined workshop. Our venue was the Domaine De Sarson and seriously was a dream. Like I wanted to live there, forever and ever.
During our workshop we had this amazing Elopement shoot and I’m seriously still dreaming over this. The colors of blue and lavender, the tones from the old chapel walls where we held the ceremony, their love, the smell of lavender and honeysuckle in the air and the most magical double rainbow at the end, YOU must scroll down for the images! This shoot pulled at all my heartstrings and had me dreaming to go back…
And going back is happening! YES, I have the most amazing news! I will be traveling back to France in early July for a wedding and I’m booking sessions while there! I will be in Paris and Provence (and YES, the lavender will be in bloom) so if you are interested in a session, contact me at [email protected] and let’s get you scheduled! If you want to see what the lavender looks like in the south of France, maybe this South of France Editorial will encourage you to buy some plane tickets! I think it’s perfect for an anniversary session with the one you love!
