Let's be Friends!

You have asked and I have listened! I’m bringing back a Wedding Based Retreat and we all get to stay in this amazing Chateau in the south of FRANCE!

And yes, it includes sheep.

It looks like Paris but it’s located in the countryside outside of the cute little town of Carcassonne. The weather is warm and it’s the perfect place to host a wedding and retreat and I’m so excited to introduce you to this treasure!

I love my intimate retreats that I’ve been hosting but I do understand that for some, it’s just not in the budget. I want everyone to be able to afford a workshop in France, shooting beautiful real couples in a dream location. Travel means so much to me and I want you to be able to experience it as well.

So with the help of the lovely owners of Chateau Saint Joseph, we are making it happen.

I would love for you to join us on May 2-5th for this amazing retreat featuring 3 wedding based shoots (engagement session, bridal fashion session and elopement complete will all the details) plus time to relax and enjoy the company of the other attendees. All lodging and meals are included and for an extra fee, you can also bring your spouse or travel partner (this is for lodging and meals only, they cannot participate in the shoots).

Ready for the details? Here you go!

Arrival is anytime after 3pm on Monday, May 2nd. The official start of the retreat is at 7pm for our welcome party and dinner. The closest big airport is in Toulouse. The chateau is an hour drive away or you can take a train to Bram and we will pick you up! But, you will be put in a group with the other attendees so I recommend that you go in together and rent a car if you chose! The best thing for flights will be to take an overnight flight (leaving on May 1st from the states). I am very happy to help you all with the details when it gets closer to book your flights!

Tuesday is the destination couples shoot as well as the fashion Bridal editorial shoot. Don’t worry, we have some down time in between for rest and exploring!

Wednesday will be our Elopement day! Complete with details, getting ready photos, portraits, ceremony and even a reception which will double as our goodbye dinner and party!

Thursday is breakfast and goodbyes.

My idea for this retreat is time to relax, shoot beautiful editorials and meet new friends. I’m promise you will leave refreshed with beautiful images to add to your portfolio.

The price (based on double occupancy per room) is $3500 which is an amazing price for a retreat like this. I’ve worked really hard with our team to make this affordable for everyone and I’m so excited to make this happen. If you would like to bring your spouse or partner, as long as they are not part of our shoots, the cost will be $750 to cover their room and meals. If you choose to have your own room and not share with another attendee, it will be $500 more.

I am opening this retreat up to 12 attendees in order to make it more affordable. But I promise, you will be split up during shooting time so no worries over elbow bumping and people in your shots!

To reserve your spot, CLICK HERE to pay the retainer fee. After you pay the retainer fee we will send over a contract and a payment plan or you can choose to pay in full.

I can’t tell you how excited I am for this opportunity and the cool thing, no one else has ever hosted a workshop or retreat here so we will be the first! How exciting is that?

Will I see you in France? I sure hope so!

Eleven years ago, I was sitting in a tiny classroom teaching a group of kindergarteners how to sing. I was a happy, small-town wife, mom, and teacher with dreams that looked like going to Disney World and spending time with my family on the beach...

When I picked up a camera for the first time I had no long-term vision except to capture my kids in a more authentic way than those stiff JCPenney portraits. And yet, the world opened up for me in ways I never could have imagined. I fell in love with capturing warmth and genuine emotion behind my lens and slowly but surely built a business with connection at its center. And my business strategy worked...
