Retired Wedding photographer of 16 years, Cancer warrior and living with a brain tumor, life is different for me now.
I've left the hustle of building a big business behind and now I use my photography for licensing, stock photos, a print shop and product store. My images have sold in Hobby Lobby, At Home and Kirklands. I also free-lance for Victoria Magazine and my recent pivot into creating a photography and lifestyle brand that evokes simplicity and calm, is fueling my soul.
I offer creative rest retreats, 1.1 mentoring for soft souls ready to slow down and pivot, beginning online film classes, and I'm creating a shop that reflects my love for the English Countryside. I also shoot mini sessions in various locations 4 times a year.

While I stepped away from teaching to pursue photography almost sixteen years ago, I've had the opportunity to continue my teaching career by educating thousands of photographers throughout these past 16 years. From workshops and speaking engagements to courses and guides, my teacher's heart adores helping other creatives grow. The truth is, I'm just a small-town girl that built a successful business from the ground up. I know the struggles that come along with running a photography business because I've experienced them firsthand. Whether you're just starting a new creative endeavor or are a seasoned photographer, you have a friend and cheerleader in me. I will always have your back and I'm just an email away.
Photography aside, I'm a southern girl who feels like she was born in the wrong century, wife to my college sweetheart, mama to two cool adult kiddos, encourager to my fellow small business owners, and a lover of people and Jesus.
I'm prone to wanderlust- as witnessed by the 50 states and 18 countries I've been to so far and I feel so blessed that my job allowed me to capture clients around the globe. I've now "retired" from shooting weddings, so these days you will find me photographing people and places that bring me joy, mentoring others who also have soft souls and want to pivot and slow down, taking like-minded souls to the English Countryside for creative rest retreats, spending more time at home decorating our small cottage, growing flowers, creating art and shopping at all the antique stores.

SWEETS
Seriously, photographing bouquets and gardens is like therapy for me. My favorites are tulips and peonies!
